Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla also experience their 12-day tour of the Caribbean under the motto "Work first, then pleasure". After the royal duo has already done some royal business, the two enjoy a relaxing day on the beach in Barbados.
Refreshingly natural
As the British "Express" reports, the two spent a romantic break on the Caribbean Sea, complete with swimwear and towels - a rare sight for British aristocracy. The 70-year-old presents himself there in short swimming trunks with a floral pattern. Camilla, on the other hand, preferred to keep it simple in a dark blue swimsuit and black sunglasses.
Tour ends March 27th
After the bathing fun, Prince Charles and his Camilla have other stops on their itinerary. At the beginning of their tour, they were received in St. Lucia by the Governor General and the Prime Minister. This was followed by a visit to Barbados, during which Charles toured the oldest synagogue in the western hemisphere. The Prince also reviews the work of his charity, The Prince's Trust International, for which he recently appointed Lionel Richie as ambassador.
Camilla is also committed to women from Barbados and has already attended a girls' school in St. Vincent. For other charitable causes, the couple will travel to Grenada, Cuba, Havana and finally the Cayman Islands on March 27th.
