Sitting on the sofa of talk show host Ellen DeGeneres on Monday night's show, which featured Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl in the audience, the American said: "I think lately I've met a lot of people that my parents are fans of… you know, I don't want to disrespect your age… Dave. I was in a meeting with Stella McCartney and she [facetimed] her dad who is Paul McCartney! My mother cried, my father cried."
The up-and-coming star had another 'surreal' celebrity encounter with Spice Girl Mel C, who recently attended her performance in London and subsequently visited her backstage. Eilish continued, "Sporty Spice came to me backstage in London. We used to watch Spice World growing up. I watched that movie like 40 times."
The 'Bury A Friend' hitmaker also spoke to the blonde talk show legend about her battle with Tourette's Syndrome, stressing that she is not overwhelmed by the neurological disorder characterized by repetitive, involuntary movements and vocalizations called tics wanting to be "defined". "It's nothing else, you know? I never said anything because I didn't want it to define who I am. I think I also learned that a lot of my fans have it, which [encouraged me more] to say it," said the singer.
