The 'Malamente' hitmaker revealed she put off collaborating with the artist because it didn't feel like "the right time" to release the track amid the current coronavirus crisis.
The brunette beauty chose to launch the ballad 'Dolerme' instead. In an interview with Zane Lowe via FaceTime for his 'At Home With…' series for Apple Music, Rosalia revealed, "Last month I was supposed to release a song with him. I was supposed to release a song that was for the club, that super aggressive that I've been working on for a really long time. I was like, 'This song is so aggressive'… It has an energy I think that's so specific to a certain moment that I didn't feel it was the right time to release it and I think that it has no connection to what's happening in the world right now." The Spanish pop star nonetheless plans to release the joint song with the hip-hop singer one day. The Spaniard added, "I decided to record 'Dolerme' to release, but I wanted to put the song out with Travis because we were working on it… He was a lot of fun going into the recording studio with him and I love his energy. I love working with him."
Rosalia is also currently waiting for Billie Eilish to record the vocals for their upcoming collaboration together.
