Kyra Sedgwick has developed a very special appreciation for professional waxing in lockdown. This is based on an experience with her husband, Kevin Bacon, that Sedgwick recounted on Tuesday's Jimmy Kimmel show. "At some point I realized that I needed a bikini wax," says the actress about the spontaneous depilation of her intimate area. She would have thought, "How hard can that be?"
Since Bacon was otherwise quite good at many things, she had assumed that he would do well in this area as well. However, that was not the case, as she now laughed at Kimmel: "There were moments when I thought: 'I thought you knew how to do it! My God, what are you doing?' And he said, 'I didn't say I know how to do this. You said I know how to do this!'"
The 55-year-old also explained what exactly went wrong: "You have to use a small piece of fabric. If it's too big, you tear off too much hair and that's painful. And if you don't put it in the If you pull it off in the right direction, it won't come off. And if you can't pull it off, you'll need to call 911." Judging by the way she laughs, it hasn't come to an extreme emergency - but there's no chance that Bacon will be allowed to try his hand at waxing again.
