After she took part in 'Deutschland sucht den Superstar' in 2013, it became rather quiet around Aline Bachmann. Now it's getting louder again: on her video blog 'Lovely Curves', the ex-DSDS candidate says that she has gained a good 50 kilograms and now weighs 174 kilograms. Her goal is to lose weight for six months and take part in the RTL talent show again.
The 21-year-old is now taking a bold step. She is very open and honest on her YouTube channel and talks about her reasons for losing weight. "First: my he alth. I have to take so many heart pills for my blood pressure because my body can no longer manage everything somehow," she describes. "Secondly, that I no longer feel comfortable at all. I'm ashamed to go out. I'm ashamed to go swimming," she lists. "The third aspect: I want to be a singer. I also notice on stage that I'm always extremely breathless just standing there."
And her diet project seems to be successful: In the first three weeks alone, she has already lost 15 kilos, she explains. How did she do it? In addition to conscious nutrition and a lot of discipline, she has the following tips up her sleeve: drink a lot of water, do sports and have a "feeding day" during the week. "Dear Good Eat Day is the best day on a diet."On these days, she eats what she feels like: chocolate, pizza, kebab. This is how she wants to avoid the notorious yo-yo effect.
In 2013, Aline Bachmann took part in DSDS. Her version of Christina Aguilera's hit "Beautiful" impressed the jury around Dieter Bohlen, Mateo von Culcha Candela and Bill and Tom Kaulitz so much that she made it into the recall – although an ugly story about Aline came to light. The DSDS candidate had to stop her training as a nurse because she stole a patient's wallet and withdrew 5,000 euros with his credit card in order to "party". But she deeply regretted her behavior. After the recall it was over for Aline – but her goal now is to take part in DSDS again and start again.
