The 29-year-old actress launched her cosmetics line Rare Beauty in 2019 and has now revealed she would like to have an "open conversation" about how beauty relates to mental he alth and has one through her brand created a charitable fund to help people with mental he alth problems.
The singer revealed to Britain's 'Glamour' magazine: "My hope with Rare Beauty is that we can have open conversations about beauty and mental he alth and transform the industry by breaking unrealistic beauty standards together. That's why it was so important for me to launch Rare Impact alongside the brand. We created the Rare Impact Fund to provide more people with more resources to support their mental he alth. 1% of all Rare Beauty sales will go to the Rare Impact Fund - and with our launch in the UK, Space NK will donate an additional 1% of their Rare Beauty sales." The 'Love You To Lose Me' hitmaker, who is an actress Childhood fame and global fame for her Disney Channel sitcom 'Wizards of Waverly Place' also admitted that growing up in public came with "a lot of pressure" but that she's stopped doing it in recent years to conform to beauty standards.
