What is the litigation about?
The lawsuit centers on the 2016 reality TV series "Rob &Chyna" on E! was broadcast. It follows Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna's relationship as they prepare for the birth of their first daughter, Dream. At the end of 2016, the two separated.
Blac Chyna's lawsuit allegation now reads: The Kardashians allegedly caused "Rob &Chyna" to be canceled in 2017 and allegedly ruined Chyna's career. The Kardashian family allegedly falsely told the reality show's producers that Blac Chyna allegedly violently assaulted her then-fiancé, Rob Kardashian. Kris Jenner was allegedly at the forefront of this plan, in which the family is said to have used their power to cancel the show.
The legal dispute between the two parties has been ongoing since 2017 and the trial began in April 2022.
