In the meantime, action icon Sylvester Stallone has also reacted to the sad news that Bruce Willis has had to end his career prematurely. With a series of pictures on his official Instagram account, Sly proves that Willis is not only a colleague, but also a good and long-standing friend.
The first photo shows the two of them as young men who - quite the action lovers - apparently just got on a roller coaster together. In the second shot, they cruise together on motorbikes, and the third shot seems to have been taken while shooting one of the "Expendables" films together. The last picture shows a heartfelt and hearty hug between the two.
Long road together
Stallone wrote: "We have come a long way. I pray for the best for you and your wonderful family." Shortly before, she had announced in a joint statement that Willis was ending his acting career at the age of 67 with immediate effect.
The statement reads: "With the amazing supporters of Bruce, we want to share as a family that our beloved Bruce is struggling with he alth issues and has recently been diagnosed with aphasia which is affecting his cognitive abilities."
