The 67th Berlinale will take place from February 9th to 19th. As every year, an international jury will decide who will win the Golden and Silver Bears. 18 films are in the running for the bears. The Dutch director and screenwriter Paul Verhoeven, as jury president 2017, selects the winners together with his jury colleagues. Six top-class stars are supporting him, as has now been officially announced.
Mexican actor Diego Luna was last seen in the box office hit 'Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.'Maggie Gyllenhaal is not only the older sister of Hollywood star Jake Gyllenhaal, but a renowned actress herself. For Berlin-born Julia Jentsch, jury work is a home game. Chinese screenwriter Wang Quan'an, Tunisian producer Dora Bouchoucha Fourati and artist Ólafur Elíasson will also be there.

Out of competition, the world premiere of "Logan" with Hugh Jackman will take place. It will be the Australian's final film in the role of Wolverine. The sequel to the cult film "Trainspotting", "T2 Trainspotting", by Danny Boyle with the original cast around Ewan McGregor will also be shown in Berlin.
Honor where credit is due
The Italian costume designer Milena Canonero will be awarded the Honorary Golden Bear for her life's work this year. A tribute is also dedicated to her. Actor Geoffrey Rush, producer Nansun Shi from China and the renowned Egyptian film critic Samir Farid will receive the Berlinale Camera.
