For more than ten years, Mola Adebisi has always been in a good mood in front of the camera of the German music broadcaster VIVA. But the German moderator of Nigerian descent was not always in the mood to laugh. Because he was also confronted with racist slogans on the station that someone left on the couch in the studio. But not only that: Mola received death threats and needed police protection for years. He talks to us about the situation in the video.
What if the bastards have kids?
Mola Adebisi encountered racism when she was still at school. At the age of twelve he was with the daughter of the vice principal. A school conference was then convened to take action against young love. “What if the bastards have children?” was the concern, Mola recalls. While his mother advised him to meet racism with love, he tends to withdraw in such situations, even if he is otherwise a real bon vivant.
Mola no longer wants to travel to the USA
Mola wants to withdraw completely from the USA in the future. Even if the country is his number 1 travel destination and he has many friends there. "I have decided that I will not set foot in this country again," explains the 47-year-old, who is extremely shocked by the high level of inhumanity there.
