"Supernatural" star Jensen Ackles will no longer only see his wife in the family home. As reported by industry magazine Variety, his wife Daneel Ackles has been cast in a recurring guest role on his series. Accordingly, she will first appear in the 13th episode of the upcoming 13th season of the mystery series as Sister Jo - "a healer whose good stats attract the attention of a very bad person: Lucifer."
Her husband Jensen Ackles has been an integral part of "Supernatural" since 2005 as Dean Winchester. The series centers on brothers Dean and Sam Winchester, whose mother was killed by a demon when both were very young. Their father, John Winchester, raises them both to be hunters against everything supernatural in order to be able to take revenge on his wife's murderer. The brothers travel across the United States, hunting all kinds of creatures and saving countless lives. However, it doesn't stop there and they realize their true place in the world and that the universe is not only filled with demons, ghosts and werewolves but also with far more powerful things.
Jensen and Daneel Ackles have been married since 2010. The couple have three children together: daughter Justice Jay and twins Arrow Rhodes and Zeppelin Bram.
