Jensen Ackles describes his collaboration with Jessica Alba on the set of her sci-fi series Dark Angel as "the horror". For the series, which ran from 2000 to 2002, the two actors, who were still quite unknown at the time, stood together in front of the camera. The Supernatural star opened up about his relationship with Alba on Michael Rosenbaum's Inside of You with Michael Rosenbaum podcast. They had "the worst kind of argument a brother and sister could have."
When asked by Rosenbaum if Alba just "didn't like him," Ackles said, "It wasn't that she didn't like me. She was just like, 'Oh, here's the pretty boy, den Network brought as a window dress because that's what we need.'" The actor also confirmed that he "fighted fire with fire" after Alba challenged him in front of the crew. That seems to have been the right decision, because after that there was "mutual respect" between the two.
No bad blood between the two
Despite the actress reportedly targeting her colleague, he backtracked in the same podcast. "I love Jess, which I think contradicts what I just said," he admitted. Ackles also remembers the support Alba gave him.
