The popular "Bauer sucht Frau" star Iris Abel recently presented herself with a new look on Instagram. Her hair is no longer brunette, but white-blonde. "It's more or less my natural color now," Iris explained in an interview with RTL. "The dark hair was dyed, but I let it grow out." The cult farmer received a lot of encouragement online for her courageous change of type. Unfortunately, there are also nasty hate comments that go below the belt."You look like a witch" or "God, you look like shit" wrote Instagram followers in the comments. In an interview with RTL, Iris defends herself against her haters.

"Everyone can express their opinion, that's totally fine with me," says Iris Abel. “But there are always those who go further. Most of the time they don't have a profile picture or a fake profile and they're also older.” What she thinks about such people: “Some people just get a bit strange when they get older,” she thinks. “These are mostly people who lead boring lives. They probably have nothing to do and want to provoke a reaction. I wish that to anyone who wishes me something – and preferably three times.” There are moments when she even considers writing back: “Sometimes my fingers really itchy,” admits Iris. "But then I take a deep breath and put the phone down because it's not worth it. But if someone attacks Uwe, I can't take a joke anymore. That's a red rag for me."
It's almost sad – but Iris has now gotten used to hate comments online: "There were things where it was even worse," she says. "I sometimes had to deactivate the comment function." But there are also comments that give her strength: "Sometimes the haters are called to order by other people and reminded that their tone is inappropriate. I would like to explicitly thank these people again."
