Actress Lori Loughlin has made her comeback on the red carpet after a three-year absence. The 'Full House' star appeared at the DesignCare 2022 Gala in Los Angeles last weekend. It was her first public appearance since the bribery scandal.
Lori Loughlin spent two months in prison
In May 2020, the actress and her husband Mossimo Giannulli were found guilty of paying a bribe in the equivalent of around 410 euros. Paid €000 to get their two daughters, Olivia and Isabella, admitted to the University of Southern California. Loughlin was released from a Dublin, California prison in late December 2020, where she had been serving just under two months. Her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, was serving a five-month sentence at a facility in Lompoc, California.
TV comeback with "When Hope Calls" already celebrated
Loughlin was already able to start her return to the TV screen in the winter of last year. The actress joined the cast in the second season of the series When Hope Calls, which debuted just before Christmas 2021 with two special episodes. The series is an offshoot of When Calls the Heart who starred Loughlin in the first six of nine seasons.
