Boris Becker was sentenced to two years and six months in prison last Friday. Angela Ermakova, with whom the tennis star has daughter Anna, is "shocked" after the verdict, as she tells "Bild TV".

"I'm very sad," she continues. "I feel sorry." She now wishes him "that he manages to convert his sentence into a shorter one". She also wished him "strength to face the biggest challenge of his life" and "to get up again as a stronger man".
Daughter Anna Ermakova wants to visit him in prison
Daughter Anna Ermakova spoke up immediately after the verdict of the British Southwark Crown Court. "I will support him and I will visit him whenever I can. I hope that will help a little to get through the time," she told the "Bild" newspaper.
Judge Deborah Taylor sentenced Becker to two and a half years in prison last Friday. He had previously been found guilty on four out of 24 counts by a grand jury in his adopted home of London.
