The 45-year-old rapper and designer has been accused of failing to return 13 "rare, prized pieces" to David Casavant after loaning 49 items of clothing from the fashion archivist in March 2020. The David Cassavant Archive claims Kanye returned the other 36 items of clothing with no issues, but in late October 2020 he stopped paying the weekly dues for the remaining 13 items.
According to documents obtained by TMZ, the 31-year-old stylist is seeking $221,000 in unpaid rental fees and an additional $195,000 to replace the 'Stronger' hitmaker's missing items. Among the 49 items listed on David's bill to Kanye - who he has worked with since 2014 - were a blue Helmut Lang denim jacket, a Gucci bomber jacket valued at £5.$000 and a black mesh tank top from Dolce and Gabbana.
The 'Jesus Walks' hitmaker has retired in recent months, but two weeks ago he attended the 2022 BET Awards to present Sean 'Diddy' Combs with the Lifetime Achievement Award.
