In a statement about the photoshoot, the Canadian pop star said: "I have always been inspired by Tommy and the iconic brand he has built and I look forward to sharing our journey with my fans. Everyone has a role to play in creating a more sustainable future and I'm inspired to see what we can achieve together." The musician's topless snaps are also meant to draw attention to the fashion house and singer's sustainability initiative Play It Forward. Shawn, 23, will wear custom-made Hilfiger pieces from the sustainable label on his 'Wonder: The World Tour' tour to "offset the environmental impact of the tour". The 'Stitches' hitmaker will also help design Hilfiger's upcoming Spring 2023 collection, which is said to consist of "recycled and new material innovations". Shawn, who wore a Tommy Hilfiger outfit to the Met Gala earlier this month, added, "I look forward to learning from one another, exploring how creative redesign can have a positive impact on the fashion industry, and sharing what a more sustainable living means to me."
