Liz Kaeber experienced what many fear. The "Bachelor" winner from 2015 was on her way home after her vacation when the plane suddenly had to make an emergency landing. An absolute shock for her and all other passengers, as she now tells her fans.
Suddenly there was a smell of melted plastic
"We would have actually flown from Vienna to Berlin and then about 15 minutes after departure it suddenly smelled so weirdly like melted plastic," Liz explains to her community in her Instagram story. The result: the machine promptly turned around again to make an emergency landing. A situation that you never want to experience like this. "The announcement from the pilot and the panic in the eyes of the crew was really bad. I was scared to death,” the 29-year-old continued.
Liz, who was traveling with her sister Christin Kaeber, among others, is happy that they all got home safely at the end of the day. She doesn't want to imagine what could have happened: "So I'll tick that off now."
The entire holiday was under an unlucky star
In general, the Kaeber sisters didn't have an easy holiday in Sardinia. Because out of nowhere he alth problems became noticeable. "Regarding our stomach… I have to say that luckily I didn't have diarrhea. Had an extreme fever for one day. I really think I ate something spoiled and I vomited extremely. I've never experienced it like this before," Liz notes in further sequences. Activities such as excursions or just going to the beach were sometimes not included. In the meantime, however, everyone is doing better again, even if the shock of the flight will probably still be in their bones for a while.
