The diagnosis: ulcerative colitis
The reality star is struggling with a chronic bowel disease called "ulcerative colitis". The intestine is inflamed in phases and causes symptoms that occur suddenly, which can also cause severe pain. As if that wasn't hard enough, the 32-year-old had to go to the intensive care unit not too long ago due to a dangerous skin germ. He survived the operation well, although at times he was even threatened with paraplegia.
After numerous surgeries and hospital stays, an XL scar remained on the body of the "Bachelor in Paradise" star, which he now confidently presents. In his latest Instagram photo, he shows himself topless with his girlfriend, whom he lovingly kisses on the forehead. For his fans, he left a clear statement in the caption: "Wear your scars with pride! Because a person without scars has not yet felt the hardship of living in pain.”

The ex-dome show participant doesn't let his illness get him down - on the contrary: scars show him strength, not weakness!
