He didn't find her there, but turned many girls' heads in front of the screen thanks to his well-trained body. However, his life changed completely due to his intestinal illness a few years ago. Now he's revealing how bad his physical condition was at the time.
I sure fell over
For a long time Philipp didn't know why he was feeling so bad. "I couldn't keep anything down and that's why I lost a lot of weight," reveals Philipp in his book "My gut is not an ass". To date, the TV actor has weighed 85 kilos. But in the "worst phase in the hospital" it was just 58 kilos. But not only that! Philipp's circulation was also completely over, as he writes: "When I wanted to get up and move, I reliably fell over."
Binge eating led to nausea & vomiting
Eventually he was diagnosed with "ulcerative colitis" and needed surgery. After the operation, he thought he was safe and started to binge eat. "I had a real jitter for things I couldn't eat before and would stuff myself with just about anything I felt like eating for weeks." The result: Nausea and vomiting followed! A vicious circle!
Philipp Stehler can finally laugh again
After several operations, an artificial anus and numerous other hardships, Philipp is now doing better. He even met his great love Vanessa in the worst time of his life. She helped him back on his feet after the procedure, as the two reveal in the video above in the couple interview at the VIPstagram.
