Tori Spelling and Jennie Garth are starting a 'Beverly Hills 90210' podcast.
The two actresses starred in the hit series alongside stars like Luke Perry, Jason Priestley and Shannen Doherty in the '90s. Now they will look back on the series that made them famous as Donna Martin and Kelly Taylor. They want to give their fans a glimpse of their real friendship and have promised that the series will be "really fun". "Sometimes friends can come and go, but we've been friends for 30 years. We've been through decades of change as women, we're moms now and it's really the only relationship that's stayed the whole time," Tori gushed to People magazine, adding, "Fans are always telling us, 'We can't believe you guys are real best friends.' We wanted to do a girlfriends podcast and then mixed it up with 90210 to do it for the fans. We have a lot to talk about. It's going to be really fun!"
Jennie admits that she has never watched an episode of the series straight before. “I don't think I watched a single episode straight through. But sometimes I see them in the background on TV when I'm cooking. I see all these young people on TV. I remember those really important connections and friendships we all had - and all the fun we all had," Garth said.
The two actresses are also hoping the podcast will honor their late co-star Luke Perry, who passed away last year after suffering a stroke.
