"And that was the greatest thing for me, because nothing stands in the way of my desire to have children," explained the 29-year-old in tears in her Instagram story from the hospital. Liz is now back home and in the video above, she candidly shows her followers the scars from the potentially life-changing surgery.

Liz underwent a laparoscopy, but also a hysteroscopy. In this type of intervention, the operating doctor can remove altered mucosa, remove tissue or fibroids under general anesthesia. “I always had a wall in my uterus […]. The doctor said it was quite a hassle, but that could be removed,” explained Liz, who was diagnosed with endometriosis.
One week after the procedure, the surgical wounds that Liz now has on her navel and lower abdomen appear to be healing satisfactorily. "The crusting is slowly disappearing," Liz says happily. The cut on the navel also looks “okay”. She just thinks it's "a bit bulky" at the moment. But that will certainly change when Liz diligently works on him with scar cream.
