Will Britney Spears ditch her famous last name completely after marrying her Sam Asghari? Her newly wed husband published a love message online that could at least speak for it. We show what Sam revealed in the video.
Will Britney Spears be officially called Britney Asghari soon?
The fans of the singer will have to get used to this name change: Britney Spears is now Mrs. Asghari – at least on paper. It's not yet clear if the "Baby One More Time" hitmaker will use her husband's last name as her stage name. Her Instagram name is still Spears.
It wouldn't be completely absurd for Britney to give up her famous family name completely. After all, the relationship with her family is still hardened. Her father Jamie Spears, her mother Lynne Spears and her little sister Jamie Lynn Spears weren't even invited to their wedding. The incidents that occurred during the 13 long years that her father was her legal guardian weigh too heavily. The singer made that more than clear in the past. "God have mercy on the souls of my family if I ever give an interview," she announced on Instagram, among other things.
Her sons take their father's last name Kevin Federline
Her two sons, Sean and Jayden James, take their father's surname, Brit's ex-husband Kevin Federline. Incidentally, during her marriage to the former backround dancer, she also toyed with the idea of completely shedding her famous family name – even on stage. As the US newspaper "San Francisco Chronicle" reported at the time, she was simply fed up with Spears. But in the end she kept the name for her professional career, with which she became a world star in 1999 - at least until now.
