It took a while, but now her personal fairy tale has come true. Britney Spears and Sam Ashgari finally tied the knot in early June. Now, in an interview, Sam opens up about how he feels as the pop princess's new husband.
Sam Asghari said marriage was "long overdue"
"I have to wear this thing now!" Sam said, beaming and pointing at his wedding ring. Unsurprisingly, the first thing he is asked in the interview is how his married life is going."It's hard, so it's a good workout for me," he quips as he raises and lowers his arm. Yes, he's obviously in a good mood and happy to finally be married.
"You know, it's just surreal man," he told Good Morning America. "It was long overdue for us. And we imagined it like a fairy tale and it was."

These two had to wait a long time for their dream wedding. In September 2021, Britney officially announced her engagement with a picture of her wedding ring, just days after her father's 13-year guardianship was legally terminated. Allegedly Sam asked Britney for her hand in Christmas 2020.
However, as long as his dream princess was not free, the two kept their wedding plans secret. Her fairy tale was only overshadowed by her ex. Her first husband Jason Alexander tried to crash the wedding but was stopped in time. This didn't spoil the party, as we show in the video.
