Britney Spears and Sam Asghari became a couple about five years ago. A few weeks ago they finally said "yes". He's now talking about the wedding on US television.
Asghari beams and points to his wedding ring when asked what life as a married man is like on Good Morning America. "I have to wear this thing now," jokes the 28-year-old. The ring is pretty heavy - and therefore a good workout."You know, it's just surreal, man," Asghari continues. Because the couple's wedding was "long overdue": "We imagined it as a fairy tale and it was."
Your ex-husband has to go to court
Despite a police operation, the two celebrated their fairytale wedding on June 9th on the grounds of Spears' villa in Thousand Oaks, California - with celebrity friends like Paris Hilton, Madonna and Selena Gomez. A clip later shared by the singer shows her in her dreamy wedding dress and in a white carriage decorated with flowers, among other things.
According to several media reports, the operation came about because Jason Alexander, Britney Spears' first husband, showed up uninvited just a few hours before the wedding and thus gained access to the property. Recently it became known that Alexander has to answer for this in court. He is accused of stalking and trespassing, among other things.
It is Spears' third marriage: she was married to childhood friend Alexander for 55 hours in 2004 and to Kevin Federline from 2004 to 2007, with whom she has sons Sean Preston and Jayden James.
