In a recent post, however, you can hear completely new tones from the pop singer: her mother Lynne is "supportive" and wishes her to be happy. A first approach after many years of estrangement?
The blonde recently wrote a thank you post to friend and wedding guest Selena Gomez. In it, she enthusiastically describes how Selena came to her wedding as a surprise guest and told her three times that she wished her happiness. Britney then adds, "My mom did that too." She adds a long PS mentioning her mom in more detail: "My mom was asked three times on the street by the paparazzi, 'What does your daughter think of yours Response to her marriage' … she said all she wanted for me was for me to be happy!!!" Britney even addresses her mother directly: "Mom and Selena, I'm so happy, such a supportive family to have !!! God bless you.” She adds three hearts.
Lynn Spears had recently supported her daughter in getting her out of guardianship, even though she had initially supported it. Maybe there is still a rapprochement between mother and daughter?

After many difficult years, things were finally looking up for Britney Spears: On November 12, 2021, a Los Angeles court overturned Britney's father Jamie's controversial guardianship of the pop singer for 14 years.
On June 9, 2022 there was a dream wedding: in the presence of many prominent guests, Britney gave her yes-word to her partner Sam Asghari. Not invited: her parents. The "Toxic" singer had long accused her father of "ruining her existence" and she has also had few good words for her mother Jamie. At least after her wedding, she congratulated her daughter Britney via Instagram and wrote to her, among other things: "I'm happy for you! I love you."
