The Queen arrived in Balmoral on Thursday, where the monarch traditionally spends her summer vacation. According to the report, she is to reside in the associated country house, Craigowan Lodge, for ten weeks. A wheelchair-accessible elevator is said to have been installed in the rustic stone house, and the Queen has been struggling with mobility issues for some time.
Other members of the royal family are also expected to visit the Queen there in the coming weeks. Prince Charles, Duchess Camilla and Prince William, Duchess Kate and their three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis could open in Scotland.
