Just ahead of the scenes shown in the latest episodes of the reality series, Momager had told Kris that she was "so excited" to have Kendall starring on the cover of Vogue before she got a phone call received from her agent, who stated that the fashion magazine would rather choose Kim. She said to the camera: "I was so excited! I just got a call from Kendall's agent this morning and he's like, 'Good news, bad news. I'm not sure if Kendall will be right for this cover. They asked Kim to do the cover.'"
