Nazan Eckes said on Thursday: "All the signs are pointing to change for me right now. That's why I decided to end the previous, exclusive cooperation with RTL and to give up my show Extra. However, there are ideas to implement joint projects with RTL on a completely new basis beyond the end of 2022 realize dreams. Dare to start over.”
RTL also emphasizes: "There are very specific plans for a big theme evening with her and for a series of interviews that we are currently working on with Nazan."
The 45-year-old has been part of the RTL family for more than 20 years now. In 1999 she started her career with the weather moderation of the regional show "Guten Abend RTL", for which she also worked as a reporter. Nazan also moderated the "RTL II News" and "Life! - The desire to live". She then hosted the first three seasons of "Let's Dance" and was also used for the DSDS live shows. For years she also stood in front of the camera for "Explosiv - Das Magazin" and took over the main moderation for "Extra - das RTL-Magazin" in 2019, replacing Birgit Schrowange.
