After Hilaria Baldwin took to Instagram to celebrate Mother's Day with her family of eight, the pregnant yoga teacher is now rounding up the kin for a special announcement. Along with husband Alec Baldwin and their six kids, Hilaria prepared a welcome treat for the ninth member of the family, as seen in the video above. The extended family not only proves that they will welcome the eagerly awaited offspring with open arms, but also reveals the gender of the baby.
Baldwin Family Gives Baby No. 7 Life Advice
On May 9, Hilaria and husband Alec confirmed with an Instagram video that their seventh child will be a baby girl. "It's always been fun and meaningful for me to find out my baby's gender, but as I grow and learn, I want to do it a little differently this time," Hilaria explains in the caption of her latest clip loving, whole person? What is important? What will make it feel seen, free and proud?" asks the expectant mother of seven. The answer follows at the same time.
The 38-year-old then films her six children as they share their wishes, encouragement and advice for their little sister-to-be. "All we can do is guide them, encourage them, listen to them, share our experiences with them and learn from them as we observe their own journey," the Boston native explains of the role of parents.“We can do what we can to ensure a good life, but the rest is up to our baby to discover their own unique self,” Hilaria notes. Watching and listening to your children is "one of the greatest gifts of your life".

Hilaria and Alec are already surrogate parents to Carmen, Rafael, Leonardo, Romeo, Eduardo and Maria Lucia. Alec is also a father to 26-year-old Ireland Baldwin, whom he had with his ex Kim Basinger.

While Alec and Hilaria's children have plenty of encouraging words of wisdom for their future sibling, Mom and Dad also share important advice in their video.
Alec makes it clear that one quality doesn't define you and Hilaria challenges her baby to explore everything the world has to offer."Feel free to dive into and express all parts of your identity without feeling embarrassed, limited or bullied," the mom-to-be says. "You don't have to prove yourself to anyone," she appeals to her daughter, adding, " I can't wait to meet you, my daughter." It's definitely mutual!
