While Boris Becker is in prison in London, there have recently been major changes for his ex-wife Lilly Becker and their son Amadeus. They are said to have moved because money was getting tight - but that's not entirely true!
Lilly Becker moved - but months ago
As the "Bild" reports, Lilly is said to have moved from Wimbledon to the Wallington suburb. She and her son should have two floors there – six bedrooms and three bathrooms would still offer plenty of space. However, the new house should have the advantage that it is a whopping 4,000 euros cheaper than her old place to stay. According to the report, Boris has apparently not paid child support since entering prison, which is said to have forced his ex to tighten their belts.
As RTL knows, that's not the reason. Lilly did indeed move, but it was quite a while ago - regardless of the tennis star's conviction.
Lilly Becker: "Boris didn't deserve it"
The fact that Boris Becker was sentenced to two and a half years in prison came as a shock to the entire family. Also for Lilly, who initially didn't know how to explain to her twelve-year-old son that his father was in prison. "I have no idea… I have no idea how I'm going to do it now," she said in an RTL interview on the day her ex entered prison. She didn't expect such a harsh judgment: "Boris didn't deserve it. We have a son together. […]. I stand behind Boris, whatever happens. He is the father of my son."
