Noah Becker can be pretty proud of himself: The 27-year-old, who is at home in the art industry, is allowed to present his paintings to a large audience in the "Gerhardt Braun Gallery" on Palma de Mallorca. Of course, his parents Barbara and Boris Becker, his new girlfriend Lilian de Carvalho Monteiro and his younger brother Elias will be there on this special evening. The key to success in sports & arts: self-discipline
The Beckers are a colorful patchwork family that seems to harmonize wonderfully. For son Noah it's no problem at all that dad Boris shows up at the art exhibition with his new girlfriend, quite the opposite. The 27-year-old is visibly happy that everyone came together that evening: "An opening is a nice occasion for that. Art brings people together anyway,” he says in an interview with the “Bild” newspaper. When Noah is asked what his goal as an artist will be, Noah compares himself to his famous father: "I'm a lone wolf in painting, like dad used to be on the tennis court."
Papa Boris Becker proudly praises his eldest son's ambition: "Of the two of us, my son is definitely the artist, but I think a great deal of self-discipline is particularly important for success in both areas."
The family has priority
The family is the top priority for the ex-tennis star. In an interview with "Bild", the 53-year-old explains what is most important to him in relation to his family: "That we are still the way we are. That we have remained a family, although we have really experienced everything. There is hardly a better-known German family than the Beckers, whether you like us or not. This circumstance gave us many advantages, but it also made many things much more difficult. But despite all the ups and downs, we still work as a family, that's our greatest match."
