Royal Trip to Norway
On Wednesday, the Monegasque royal couple arrived in Norway with their children, twins Gabriella and Jacques, for an official visit. A private royal luncheon was held at Bygdø Kongsgård mansion in Oslo, attended by the Monegasques as well as King Harald V.and Queen Sonja, Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit and Princess Märtha Louise attended.
Haakon and Albert then opened an exhibition in the Fram Museum. Shortly before, the kiss between the Monegasque prince and his wife Charlène appeared to have occurred. Other photos show the two in an intimate embrace.
Charlène's first trip after a long illness
It is Princess Charlène's first journey after her long battle with he alth problems. At the beginning of June she was infected with the corona virus. The 44-year-old returned to Monaco in March after a lengthy stay in a hospital in Switzerland. Before that, she was stuck in South Africa for many months last year with an ear, nose and throat condition and was unable to return to Europe.
Prince Albert unpacks: "Charlène has suffered a lot"
"We missed the Princess very much. And we were obviously hurt by the malicious rumors that were being spread," Albert explained in an interview with "Le Journal de Dimanche" at the beginning of June: "But we were able to stick together despite the distance, we often spoke to each other."
Prince Albert II and Princess Charlène of Monaco have been married since 2011. Their twins Jacques and Gabriella were born three years later.
