An exciting new chapter in life is beginning for Prince George and Princess Charlotte. The days are numbered at London's exclusive Thomas's Battersea School - the two will be moving to a new school from September. And the change doesn't just have positive things in store for the kids… Keyword: Saturday school!

George and Charlotte now also have to go to school on Saturdays

The reason for the change of school is the alleged relocation of Prince William and Duchess Kate. The family will reportedly no longer be based at Kensington Palace in London and will be moving to Adelaide Cottage not far from Windsor Castle. Among other things, the British "Mirror" reports that the Cambridge kids will therefore attend the Lambrook School in Berkshire in the future. So does Prince Louis, for whom everyday life as a student is only just beginning.

However, the new school also offers Saturday classes, which means that William and Kate's gang of little rascals also have to work on the weekends. But don't worry - on the whole, the children will also get their money's worth there. "It can't be compared to the cramping school that our daughter went to in London – there's a lot of freedom and no pressure," a mother tells the Telegraph. The range of sports is also impressive. The site has cricket -, football and rugby fields and a 9-hole golf course.

School is not for the small purse

The co-educational school costs up to £7,000 per school year - there are additional costs for children attending boarding school. Nevertheless, parents also get something for their money. If necessary, they can register their offspring for overnight stays. "Even most local parents like the idea that their little ones can stay the night if they need to - it means they can throw dinner parties and have a hangover without having to take the kids to school the next day," says an insider.
