Dominik Stuckmann is looking for his luck as a new Bachelor in 2022 as a Rosenkavalier. His predecessor Niko Griesert gave Mimi Gwozdz the last rose in the final, but was happy afterwards with second-placed Michèle de Roos. In 2020, however, Sebastian Preuss did not give any candidate the last rose in the final. Andrej Mangold found what he was looking for in 2019. He was happy with his chosen one, Jennifer Lange, for almost two years until they separated in November 2020. And the German "Bachelor" universe has produced other couples… Here's an overview of all couples.
The couples in the Bachelor universe: Here we show ALL couples at a glance
The last rose, the great happiness?
Niko Griesert and Michèle de Roos are still happy together, but since Michèle did not get the last rose in the finale, Andrej and Jenny formed the only real final couple from eleven seasons of "The Bachelor" in which love goes far had lasted beyond the show. The two are now separated. In "The Bachelorette", Anna Hofbauer, the bachelor of 2014, and her chosen one, Marvin Albrecht, were long considered an absolute dream couple. However, the relationship ended in 2017. Anna is now a mom and even got married before.
Bachelorette Maxime Herbord and her winner Raphael Fasching from 2021 are not a couple: Raphael has recently been with Kim-Denise Lang, who once courted Bachelor Niko Griesert. Bachelorette Melissa Damilia and her chosen one Leander Sacher kept giving fans insights into their relationship after the finale. In November 2021, breakup rumors made the rounds.
Bachelor Sebastian Pannek gave his last rose to Clea-Lacy Juhn in 2017, their love broke up after about a year and a half. But Pannek has now found his great happiness with another lady from the "Bachelor Universe". In 2020 he married Angelina Pannek, former gamekeeper. She was in the final with Christian Tews in 2014, but went away empty-handed. In 2016 she was briefly in a relationship with Leonard Freier. It has now worked out with the third Rosenkavalier. The Panneks became parents in the summer of 2020.
Jessica Paszka and Johannes Haller are currently proving that the last rose doesn't have to be decisive for a happy ending. In 2017, the then Bachelorette decided in the final against Haller and for his competitor David Friedrich. The relationship only lasted a few months. Haller, on the other hand, found ex-“Bachelor” candidate Yeliz Koc a year after the show through “Bachelor in Paradise”. They had an on-off relationship until early 2020. In the summer of the same year, Paszka and Haller became close again. They are now engaged and will become parents in May 2021.
Christina Grass & Co.: Falling in love again in the Bachelor Universe
Nik Schröder, third place finisher of the 2017 Bachelorette season, had a similar experience. Since 2018, the woman at his side has been called Jessi Cooper, also known from the Bachelor season with Völz. Schröder and Cooper married in September 2019 and had a baby in September 2021.
Marco Cerullo also wanted to conquer Jessica Paszka's heart in 2017, but finally found his dream woman in 2019 with the "Bachelor in Paradise" offshoot. He fell in love with Christina Grass, who competed for Andrej Mangold's roses in 2019. The couple got engaged in early 2020, announced their separation at the end of the year and then surprised with a love comeback in mid-January 2021.
It's over and over again
Alexander Hindersmann and Wioleta Psiuk made their relationship public in June 2020. Hindersmann won "The Bachelorette" in 2018 and was with Nadine Klein for a short time. After the breakup, he became a permanent candidate: he also tried his luck in the 2019 Bachelorette season, after which he took part in "Bachelor in Paradise". Meanwhile, Psiuk was seen in the bachelor season with Sebastian Preuss. She made it to the final, but like her competitor Diana Kaloev, she went away empty-handed because he didn't want either of the women. Hindersmann and Psiuk's relationship lasted three months.
Carina Spack wanted to win Bachelor Daniel Völz for herself in 2018, Serkan Yavuz courted Bachelorette Gerda Lewis in 2019. As fate would have it, the two met and fell in love in the second season of "Bachelor in Paradise" in autumn 2019. In autumn 2020 they also announced their separation. Serkan Yavuz met Samira Klampfl on "Bachelor in Paradise 2021" – the two are together after the show and are expecting a child together.
"Prince Charming" and "Princess Charming" are now mixing with
2019, the TV coupling exchange was expanded to include a new format: "Prince Charming" is now involved. Nicolas Puschmann was the first homosexual dream prince in the German TV landscape - and found what he was looking for. He fell in love with podcaster Lars Tönsfeuerborn and presented him with the last tie. About a year later, the couple announced their separation in November 2020. After their love comeback in spring 2021, the two announced their second separation in September 2021. The relationship between "Prince Charming" successor Alexander Schäfer and his chosen one, Lauritz Hofmann, did not even last beyond the finale. With "Prince Charming 2021" Kim Tränka and his winner Maurice Schmitz, on the other hand, it really sparked: The two remained a couple after the final and have now moved in together.
Irina hose chose Lou Schaaf as the first "Princess Charming" in the 2021 final. The two of them didn't end up in a relationship.
In December 2019, however, this news caused the biggest surprise in the universe of dome shows: Sam Dylan, "Prince Charming" candidate 2019, and Rafi Rachek, "The Bachelorette" candidate 2018, are in a relationship. A year earlier, Rachek wanted to win the heart of Nadine Klein, and in 2019 he finally came out as homosexual on the offshoot "Bachelor in Paradise". After Sam and Rafi were separated for a short time, the two have now moved into a new love nest.
