The rumor mill about the musician R. Kelly is bubbling again. After the former rapper was recently sentenced to 30 years in prison, the next bombshell bursts: His fiancé Joycelyn Savage is said to be pregnant by him.

R. Kelly is reportedly having a child

At least that's what his longtime partner and fiancee Joycelyn Savage claims in her book, Love and Joy of Robert, reports the tabloid New York Post. After that, the couple is said to be excited about this new role in his life. However, since the musician was only sentenced to 30 years in prison for sex offenses a few weeks ago, the two will probably not be able to master this task together. In September last year, R. Kelly was found guilty of multiple charges, including child sexual exploitation, kidnapping and bribery. The 26-year-old Savage is said to have found out about the pregnancy just one day after the final verdict in late June. Since the 55-year-old has been imprisoned for three years, the question naturally arises as to how the rapper could have become a father. That's why the musician himself denies that he's expecting a child with his fiancé, and she hasn't revealed any details about the baby's conception yet.

30 years imprisonment

The former successful musician is now in bloom. This means that he will spend much of the rest of his life in captivity. As the American judge Ann Donnelly announced on June 29 in New York, the 55-year-old received the maximum sentence. This carries a $100,000 fine and 30 years in prison, all without parole. During the trial, and even during the delivery of that harsh sentence, R. Kelly, whose real name is Robert Sylvester, didn't seem to care much about the judge's verdict. He just stared straight ahead with a blank stare.

It seems incredible, but the "I Believe I Can Fly" hitmaker has denied all allegations for years, accusing his critics of character assassination. Together with a team, he is said to have forced girls and women to have sex several times over the years and has so far got away with it without punishment. So it is understandable that the jury and the judge impose the maximum sentence.
